Body found

IMPHAL, Sep 22: The lifeless body of a 70-year-old man who was washed away by a strong river current at Kshetri Awang Liekai on September 15 has been found.
The decomposed body of Md Ramjal was found this morning at around 9.30 at Naharup Konjil Iril River bank.
Md Ramjal hailed from Kshetri Awang Leikai.
Ramjal had been missing after he fell in the Iril River during flood on September 15.
Personnel of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF),
KIYC Club Kshetrigao and locals were engaged in a massive search and rescue operation.
Ramjal's lifeless body was found by locals of Naharup when they went to fish in the Iril River.
Locals of Naharup retrieved the body and it was handed over to the family members for last rites.
