2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup MNCA secretary Ronel named National women’s team manager

In a proud moment, Manipur Cricket Association (MNCA) secretary, Leishangthem Ronel has been appointed as the administrative manager of the Harmanpreet Kaur-led National team by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the 2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup beginning on September 30.
MNCA, in a press release, expressed pride over his appointment for the position ahead of the prestigious tournament.
This prestigious role is a significant recognition for Manipur cricket, reflecting Ronel Singh's dedication and administrative experience, it said.
MNCA president Nongthombam Zico Meetei also congratulated Ronel on being appointed for the position.
MNCA also quoted Zico as saying- “This appointment brings honor to the State and highlights MNCA's contribution to Indian cricket”.
Ronel Singh also expressed gratitude to the BCCI and dedicated the achievement to the cricketing community of Manipur, affirming his commitment to serve the team with dedication and professionalism, it said.
Ronel Singh will join the team on September 28, 2025. This appointment is a landmark moment for MNCA, bringing national recognition and inspiring the youth and cricket enthusiasts in the State, it added.
