Awareness programme held

SENAPATI, Sep 26: The Central Bureau of  Communication, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting,  Field Office, Senapati, in collaboration with ICDS Project, Purul block, Government of Manipur, organised a Communication and Outreach Programme (COP) on "Nutrition" at Koide village Community Hall  today.
The program aimed to disseminate information and raise awareness about the importance of nutrition, particularly for mothers, children, students, and the general public.
The programme was attended by Dr Engam Pame, Director PIB/CBC, Ministry of I&B; Adaha P Chopullo, DPO/CDPO of ICDS Purul Project; chairman of the host village, women president, youth president and Ks Vismas, Lecturer in Health & Nutrition, Purul Hr Sec School. Field Public delivered the welcomed address and highlighted the importance of observing Nutrition month. This was followed by speeches from resource persons and dignitaries on various aspects of nutrition.
As part of the event, nutritious food items were exhibited and a quiz competition was organised for mothers, with prizes awarded to the winners. Over 120 people, including Anganwadi workers, helpers, and mothers, attended the programme.
