IMPHAL, Sep 3 : BJP Manipur Pradesh has stated that they haven't received any official communication about Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Manipur from the party's National office, despite speculation from various sources.
Addressing a press conference at Thambal Shanglen at Nityaipat Chuthek today, BJP Manipur general secretary K Saratkumar continued that the Prime Minister, however, is likely to visit the State although the party office hasn't received any information about it.
He, meanwhile, stated that an FIR has been lodged against MPCC key functionary Sakir Ahamed for allegedly accusing RSS/BJP of attempting to create communal tension through a Facebook post on a page called Eramdam Manipur.
