DC Chandel Trophy 1st Divn FootballCheengkhu YC rally to salvage draw with Chakpikarong YC

IMPHAL, Sep 4 : Cheenkhu YC rallied back to hold Chakpikarong YC to a 2-2 draw in the third match of the DC Chandel Trophy 1st Division Football Tournament 2025 being organised by DSA, Chandel.
Kanlun was first to strike to give Chakpikarong YC the lead after 5 minutes at Sports Complex, Chandel Christian before hitting another in the 15th minute.
Cheengkhu YC however made their way back into the game with Isack reducing the margin in the 35th minute before Kankhu equalised the margin in the added time before the break (45+1’).
The two sides fought hard to break the deadlock in the second half but their efforts went in vain and eventually ended up sharing a point apiece.
In the fourth match of the tournament, Goulen (15’) and Shelsingwar (59’) were on target to hand Damjol YC a 2-1 win over Liwa Khullen YC. Becember (36’) scored the only goal for Liwa Khullen YC.
