KRYPHSA pip NBCA to seal IW 2nd Divn Football league title

IMPHAL, Jan 9 : KRYPHSA, Naoremthong pipped NBCA, Takyel Khongbal on superior goal difference to win the title of the 30th Second Division Football League this afternoon at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi Part II.
NBCA, who had registered three of three league round wins, needed a point to finish atop had to bite the dust as KRYPHSA, who had won won twice in three matches, pulled off a 1-0 win in the top of the table clash today to go top on same 9 point but with superior goal difference.
The winner was scored by H Wanglen in the 14th minute as NBCA failed to capitalise on their chances in both the halves..
With the third win, KRYPHSA earned promotion to the 1st Division League next season.
As many as 5 teams competed in the third tier inter club football league tournament of the Imphal West district organised by Imphal West District Football Association.
