Chongtham Ronikumar
A richer student bows to his teacher,
head resting upon the twisted legs
while an insect crawls, unnoticed -
its sudden bite becomes his wound.

The professor , startled ,
feels the guilt of unseen fault,
the divide and rule
woven by false devotion.

A victimised, beautiful girl
witnesses the scene .
She awakes the mentor,
flushes out the germ ,
offers her own lap for his rest ,
before the eyes of all.

Yet he chides her gently:
"Go, beyond the river's border,"
and salutes her courage.

Gradually, she shines -
though tears often fill her sight.
For in her quiet heart
she has solved the hardest riddle
of humankind:
without pride , without ego,
embracing all with understanding.

To me , she is real Arjun -
and I, as imitating Guru Dronacharjya,
in today's living epic.

This truth I challenge
as the present unacknowledged Professor ,
of "Manipur University "
to every noble hall , even
to prestigious universities and laureates alike:
that wisdom rests not in wealth or rank,

But in the mindful heart
that heals the world even to me really
I fully guess and support,
To find out that Arjun is better than egoic and fake hearts of Karna like terrorists
In every stage of the globe.
