52 Congress members join BJP at Heirok

THOUBAL, Jan 12: MLA of Heirok Assembly Constituency Dr Thokchom Radheshyam on Monday expressed confidence that a day will come when all voters of the Heirok constituency will unite under a single political platform. MLA Dr Radheshyam made the statement during a grand reception programme organised to welcome 52 individuals from 14 households who formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the Indian National Congress (INC), expressing support for the MLA and the ideology of the BJP. The reception programme, organised by the BJP Heirok Mandal, was held at the residence of Dr Radheshyam. The newly inducted members were accorded a warm welcome by the MLA and the BJP Heirok Mandal.
