5th MNCA Superplate Trophy 2025-26 CDCC, TCMDC end Group A campaign on winning notes

IMPHAL, Jan 17 : CDCC, Sagolband and TCMDC, Thongju Part II Pechu Lampak ended their Group A League campaign in the 5th MNCA Superplate Trophy 2025-26 on winning notes today.
At Khudeiband Lampak in Taothong, TCMDC defeated KSDO, Kyamgei by 7 wickets to end their campaign with four wins.
KSDO, who won the toss and opted to field first, were dismissed for 117 runs in 29.1 over with Kongbrailatpam Kalyan Sharma (3/15 in 7 overs), Rain Urikhinbam (3/13 in 4.4 overs), and Kharibam Suraj (2/19 in 7 overs) ripping apart their batting line up.
TCMDC then cruised to the target in 21.5 overs with three wickets left to spare.
Kongbrailatpam Kalyan 33 off 39 and Laishram Vivekananda 32 off 37 put on a 69-run partnership for the first wicket in the chase for TCMDC before Arshad Ali Shah 24 not out off 23 finished off the chase with Kh Suraj 9 not out off 9.
Arshad and Rain 15 off 23 had also added 36 runs for the third wicket in this innings that saw Sangomshumpham Shah Nawaz 2/25 and Lakimbur 1/22 sharing three wickets for KSDO.
Kalyan was adjudged player of the match.
Elsewhere at Khangabok Part III Cherapur Public Ground, CDCC overwhelmed KASC, Khomidok by 185 runs to finish their campaign with 3 wins.
Toss winners CDCC rode on Md Ataur Rahaman’s unbeaten 59-ball 72 and significant contributions from Konjengbam Monish 43 off 22, and Kshetrimayum Robert 36 off 37 to raise a huge total of 256 runs for 6 wickets before Fm Sharif enjoyed a fifer (5/11 in 7 overs), Mairembam Lucky picked three (3/12 in 3.2 overs), and Khurshid Alam claimed two (2/22) to bowl out KASC for a paltry total of 71 runs within 17.2 overs.
Narengbam Priyojit 27 off 20, Nongthombam Gulson 26 off 21, and Devis 21 off 32 also made double digit scores for CDCC in their innings that saw Md Sakif Hussain claiming two wickets (2/35) for KASC while four others claimed a wicket apiece.
In reply, only Muhammad Javed 16 off 16 and Mayangmayum Md Alfash 10 off 27 managed double digit scores for KASC.
Fm Sharif of CDCC who shone with the ball was adjudged player of the match.
FORCE will play PCC in the final Group A league match tomorrow at Khudeiband Lampak.
