TYDA hold Classic FA to 1-1 draw

IMPHAL, Jan 19 : TYDA, Toubul held Classic FA, Chingmeirong to a 1-1 draw at Loitang Football Arena in a Zonal Group J league match of the ongoing AIFF Youth (U-18) Elite League.
Classic FA, who had won 7 of 7 previous matches, went ahead in the 8th minute through Kshetrimayum Langamba’s clinical finish but TYDA drew level in the 16th minute through Ningthoujam Jackson.
They two sides failed to add to their tally in the remaining part of the game and eventually shared a point apiece.
With the result, Classic FA remain on top of the group table on 22 points as TYDA remain second on 17 points  (5 wins and 2 draws).
Three other State teams- Sang-gai Heroes (SGH), Regular Football Coaching Center (RFCC), and Elite FA, and one team from Assam- Numaligarh Refinery Limited Football Academy (NRLFA) are in the same group.
