ISBT to be re-commissioned today

IMPHAL, Jan 21: The Inter-State Bus Terminus, Khuman Lampak is set to be re-commissioned on January 22, 2026.
According to a press release issued by the Director (Transport), ISBT will be re-commissioned tomorrow for 12 routes viz; Imphal-No-ney, Imphal-Tameng- long, Imphal-Ukhrul, Imphal-Kamjong, Imphal-Wabagai, Imphal-Sugnu, Imphal-Yaingangpokpi, Imphal-Chandel, Imphal- Leishang- them, Imphal-Moirang, Imphal-Kakching and Imphal and Yairipok.
Passengers travelling on these routes have been asked to board the buses only from ISBT Khuman Lampak, Imphal and ensure that tickets are booked exclusively through Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETM) available in the buses with conductors or online booking through https://manipurstatetransport.mn.gov.in or through the mobile app Starbus Manipur.
Another order issued by the Transport Director has asked buses/intermediate public transport mode vehicles (Tata Magic/winger/Sumo etc) plying on various routes in the State to terminate their services at ISBT, Khuman Lampak with effect from January 22, 2026.
It has also asked transport societies/associations/unions/ organisations to post experienced time keepers at their own management at the ISBT, Khuman Lampak and other pickup/set down points. It said that buses belonging to inter-State service and plying on Dimapur/Guwahati route shall pick up and drop passengers at ISBT Khuman Lampak.
