MAKKA announces State team for Sub-Junior Kho-Kho Nationals

IMPHAL, Dec 21 : The Manipur Amateur Kho-Kho Association (MAKKA) has announced the names of the sub-junior boys and girls selected to represent Manipur at the 35th Sub-Junior National Kho-Kho Championships, 2025-26 to be held from January 31 to February 4 at Kurukshetra, Haryana.
The players who made it to the State teams are as follows.
Boys : L Joshi of BASU, N Tomthin of BASU, S Tolenkhomba of SCEASDO, N Premchan of SCEASDO, Christopher Chingsubam of ALKKA, P Thoihenba of SENDYC, Md Mizas Khan of BES, Th Nikolas of MLYDC, N Malemjaoba of SHGIRCS, Sh Raj Singh of YGC, Kh James of SYA, Kh Lanchenba of BASU, L Boyton of KSUPS, and M Jacson of SADA.
Girls : N Nushita of PRSC, N Mirita of PRSC, Y Lanchenbi of SADA, Th Bumika of PRSC, N Lanchenbi of ASKKA, Yaiphabi Thokchom of BASU, L Binita of BASU, N Monalia of SADA, Y Aster of ASKKA, Aribam Aisha of BES, M Rani of KSUPS, Th Thoi of SYA, L Raniviyash of BASU, Kh Ningtambi of ASKKA, and K Sunity of SHGIRCS.
H Premkumar and Sh Boboy were named as boys’ team manager and coach while RK Kheroda and Kh Memtombi were named as girls’ team manager and coach.
The players were further instructed to report to Kh Imo, NIS Kho Kho Coach; Sh Boboy, State Coach and Kh Memtombi on January 23 at BASU ground, Khangabok for intensive training and coaching by 8 am.
They must also bring 3 copies of eligibility Certificate of KKFI duly signed by School Principal/ Headmaster concerned; photostat copy of Aadhaar Card and birth certificate; 4 copies of colour photos and KKFI UID numbers, MAKKA said.
