Successful candidates feted

IMPHAL, Jan 23 : Assam Rifles today felicitated 11 young achievers who have been successfully selected as SSC (GD) Constables in various Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) including the BSF, CRPF, CISF and other forces, during a ceremony held at Nambol Company Operating Base (COB).
The candidates are products of the free Pre-Recruitment Training Programme conducted at Nambol COB by Assam Rifles, which encompasses rigorous physical conditioning, academic coaching for entrance examinations, nutritious meals to enhance strength and recovery, regular medical check-ups, focused mentoring on the selection process, assistance in form filling, and personality development sessions, ensuring all-round preparation for success, said a statement.
The ceremony was graced by Commandant, 33 Assam Rifles, Pooja Elangbam, District Commissioner, Bishnupur, representatives of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), meira paibi leaders, NCC cadets, village elders and local residents.
A short inspirational movie, comprising photographs and moments from the pre-recruitment training, was then screened.
In her address, Pooja Elangbam congratulated the achievers and urged them to guide, motivate and uplift other village youth, so that the ripple of success continues to spread.
In his closing address, Commandant, 33 Assam Rifles, congratulated the candidates on their hard-earned success and described them as future epitomes of discipline, integrity and National service.
