Asian hospital to offer discount to scribes

IMPHAL, Jan 23 : Bringing more good news for the media fraternity, Asian Hospital has now announced special discounts for journalists recognized by the All Manipur Working Journalist Union (AMWJU).
According to Media Coordinator Ningthoukhong- jam Bobo, Asian Hospital is offering 20% discount on treatment fees and 30% discount on diagnostic tests.
The announcement was made at Manipur Press Club today after an agreement was signed between Asian Hospital representatives and AMWJU office bearers including president Asem Bhakta and Standing Committee members.
Earlier this month, Babina Hospital also announced a 20% discount in the treatment of AMWJU members as a New Year gift.
Speaking to the media, Ningthoukhongjam Bobo said journalists seeking to avail the discount are required to provide valid identity cards issued by AMWJU. Additional benefits will be given if they are also PMJAY Card holders, he said. He further shared that the decision to offer health discounts to AMWJU members was unanimously made during a recent hospital meeting.
