Grenade planted

IMPHAL, Jan 28: A hand grenade with a warning note was found on the verandah of Gotimayum Priyanka’s residence at Thoubal Kiyam Siphai Thong Ahanbi early this morning.
“Oktabi Priyanka sibagi cheirak piragani KCP PWG next blast” was written on the warning note.
Some family members of Priyanka came across the hand grenade along with the warning note, and they promptly informed police.
A team from Thoubal police station and a bomb disposal squad arrived and picked up the grenade safely at around 8 am .
Meanwhile, a case has been registered at Thoubal police station in connection with the incident.
Notably, Gotimayum Priyanka won 1st runner-up title of Miss Manipur 2017.
