IW 3rd Divn Football EYDC beat IBSA 3-1, RFA held by KYDC

IMPHAL, Jan 2 : EYDC, Eroisemba beat IBSA, Yumnam Leikai by 3-1 goals as RFA, Top Siphai were held to a 1-1 draw by KYDC, Kiyam Sangaithel Road in today’s matches of the ongoing 7th Sh Mani Sharma Memorial 3rd Division Football League at PAMYAL ground, Patsoi Part II.
EYDC, who had won twice in earlier three matches, got off to a bright start and entered into the break with a 2-0 lead courtesy of goals coming from Thomson (26’) and Biswamitra (36’).
EYDC further extended the lead to 3-0 after 54 minutes through Supreme before Lemba pulled back a goal in the 64th minute for IBSA.
Later in the second match, RFA enjoyed a slender 1-0 lead thanks to Mangal’s 15th minute strike only to be cancelled by Paris for KYDC late in the 65th minute.
