100 Kgs of explosives recovered from CCpur

IMPHAL, Jan 4 : Security forces recovered  one rocket with around 100 Kgs of explosives from Chura-chandpur  and  a large con- signment of arms, ammu-nition and explosives from different places.
In a bulletin, the police control room stated that one SLR with a magazine, one single barrel gun, one 9mm pistol with a magazine, one .32 pistol with a magazine, one .32 automatic pistol with two magazines, two IEDs, two hand grenades (no 36), one Chinese made hand grenade and 37 live rounds of ammunition were recovered from Yairipok Top Ningthounai Lai Ching under Andro police station in Imphal East, today.
From Chingphei village in Churachandpur, security forces recovered one rocket with around 100 Kgs of explosives, a sniper rifle with telescopic day light scope, one IED weighing 3 Kgs, two country made SBBLs, one 9mm pistol with one magazine, five 7.62 mm live rounds and 12 bore live cartridges on December 3.
Additionally, from Sei-jang village in Churachand- pur, security forces recovered two medium size rockets weighing around 40 Kg each, three county made double barrels and one country made single barrel on December 2.
Two .32 bore pistols with magazines, one 51 HE mortar bomb, two hand grena- des (no 36), 91 live rounds of ammunition of different calibre, two .303 LMG magazines, one grenade and some protective gears were seized from Kangaching Tellou under Lamlai police station on on December 3.
