20th Women’s State Polo : AR Polo Team hammer MPSC 17-3 to finish league winners

IMPHAL, Jan 4 : AR Polo Team steamrolled MPSC by 17-3 goals for the third win in four matches that included a draw to consolidate themselves on top of the 20th Women’s State Polo Tournament 2025-26 league table.
The result also meant they set up the final date with Chingkheihunba Polo Club (CHPC) who finished league runners-up with 3 wins in four matches.
Laxmi was unstoppable today as she scored staggering 10 goals alone across all the four chukkers to steer AR Polo Team to the dominating win while Sushila scored all the three goals for MPSC.
Laxmi scored twice while Veronica, Enourembi, and Bindi added a goal apiece to earn a 5-0 first chukker lead for the winners before Laxmi scored thrice and Enourembi added one to extend the lead to 9-1 in the second chukker that also saw Sushila scoring one for MPSC. The third chukker saw Laxmi, Veronica, and Enourembi scoring one goal apiece to make it 12-2 against MPSC whose Sushila scored her second.
In the final chukker, Laxmi scored four goals and Enourembi one in between to set up the 17-3 win for AR Polo Team as Sushila had her third in the closing minute of the chukker.
