Veteran Cricket : LCC beat KSDO by 2 wickets

IMPHAL, Jan 4 : LCC, Lamsang ended their Group C campaign in the 22nd Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament with a 2 wicket win over KSDO, Kyamgei at Langthabal Public Ground.
It was their only win in the league stage after four successive losses.
KSDO, who were also winless in the previous three games, won the toss and opted to bat first. They however added 145 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 30 overs before going down for the fourth time as LCC fought their way to the target with 2 wickets and 4 balls left to spare.
Mishara Khan 28, Najir Khan 23 not out, Sabir Ahmed 19 , and Nurul Haque 17 not out led the scoring for KSDO early in the first innings that saw Nandakumar (3/13), Shyamjai (2/21), and Morning (1/26) sharing 6 wickets for LCC.
In reply, Rakhesh 32 not out, Samananda 25, Michael 19 not out, Morning 19 led the scoring for LCC.
 Abdul Khalique (2/21), Himat (2/24), Noushad Ali (1/23), and Nawash Khan (1/30) were among the wickets for KSDO.
