RAU cap campaign with 3-0 thrashing of Angtha FC

IMPHAL, Jan 5 : RAU, Lairikyengbam Leikai thrashed Angtha FC to cap their 3rd Premier League campaign with 5 wins and 4 draws.
RAU who posted two wins and a draw in the last five matches bounced back and rode on goals from Md Sohail (14’), Chesam Aras (55’) and Ningthoujam Manimatum (64’) to end their journey on a winning note this afternoon at SSC ground, Sekta.
Earlier in the day, YPHU suffered a 0-1 loss to Athletic Brother’s Association (ABA), Kshetrigao.
The lone goal that earned ABA all three points was scored by Leivon Livingston Kom in the 30th minute.
