29th Junior National Sepaktakraw C’ships Manipur end campaign with 2 gold and 4 silver medals

IMPHAL, Jan 5 : State boys and girls team ended their campaign in the 29th Junior National Sepaktakraw Championships hosted by Punjab at Lovely Professional University with a rich haul of 2 gold and 4 silver medals.
The final day of the championship saw the State boys go down by 1-2 sets (11-15, 17-16, 8-15) to Delhi to settle for the Quad event silver.
Notably, Manipur had yesterday clinched a gold medal apiece in the boys’ Regu event and girls’ Quad event.
On the second day of the competition, Manipur boys and girls won a silver medal apiece in the team event following loss to Delhi and Kerala respectively.
Manipur girls also suffered Regu event final loss to Kerala to win another silver.
