CRPF distributes sewing machines

IMPHAL, Jan 9: As part of its Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2025-26, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Thursday distributed sewing machines to residents of Laimaton, Thangbuh and Laibol Khullen villages under New Keithelmanbi Police Station in Kangpokpi district.
The programme was organised under the aegis of CRPF Manipur and Nagaland Sector, Imphal, by Dett/30 Battalion CRPF at the premises of C/30 Bn CRPF, Laimaton Thangbuh. The initiative aimed at fostering better relations between the CRPF and the local population.
During the event, sewing machines were distributed to villagers of Laimaton Thangbuh and Laibol Khullen, with the objective of providing livelihood support and encouraging self-reliance among beneficiaries.
The programme was inaugurated by Sandeep Kumar Neeraj, 2-I/C, 30 Bn CRPF, in the presence of Mahendra Singh, 2/IC . The event was also attended by Chairperson/Secretary of Tingkai Khullen Village, Nehkholam Haokip, Chief of Lalbol Khullen Village Manglup Haokip and Laimaton Thangbuh Khaiminlen Haokip, among others.
