EDUCCON 2026 kicks off

IMPHAL, Feb 1 : The much-anticipated “EDUCCON 2026”, powered by the UNACCO Group of Institutes, commenced today with a grand inauguration ceremony at the multipurpose hall of the UNACCO Residential School in Chanung.
The educational convention aims to provide students with a platform to gain knowledge beyond textbooks and understand societal values.
The inaugural function was attended by several dignitaries, including Dr Ayekpam Chinglenkhomba Meitei, Joint Secretary, Education (S), Government of Manipur; Dr Arup Mukhopadhyay, Director, UNACCO School; and N Irabanta Singh, CMD, UNACCO Group.
Over 1,500 students from more than 50 schools across the State are participating in the event.
The two-day event will feature various competitions and activities such as a quiz, painting, dance competition, fashion show, workshop, and storytelling.
