16th Shaheed Manoranjan Memorial Football PATHAP FC knock out TRAU FC 5-0, NMFA outlast Utlou FC 6-4

IMPHAL, Feb 10 : PATHAP FC, Lilong blanked TRAU FC 5-0 while NMFA, Salam outlasted Utlou FC by 5-3 on penalties after a 1-1 regulation time draw in today’s matches of the ongoing 16th Shaheed Manoranjan Singh Memorial CRPF Football Tournament 2025-26 at SAI Sports Complex, Takyel.
In the first match of the day, Utlou FC enjoyed early lead thanks to Laithangbam Jackson’s 9th minute strike but NMFA rode on Ronik Singh Moirangthem’s 24th minute equaliser to extend the game into the penalty shoot-out in which they came out 5-3 winners.
 With the win, NMFA set up a quarterfinal date with AIM, Khabam.
Later in the day, Md Abdul Karim and Md Sahir Ali scored two goals apiece to set up 5-0 win for PATHAP FC against TRAU FC.
Sayed Mirwaj Hussain opened the scoring in the 14th minute before Md Abdul Karim scored back to back in the 40th and the 43rd minutes to make it 3-0 at halftime. Md Sahir Ali then scored a second half brace (60’, 70’) to complete the 5-0 rout of TRAU FC.
With the win, PATHAP FC set up a quarterfinal date with Juvenile Club, Tera.
