10th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Trophy CYCLONE secure 4-wicket victory against RCA Lilong, CRAU beat SCCC

IMPHAL, Feb 12: CYCLONE Thangmeiband blew past RCA Lilong, securing a 4-wicket victory in one of the matches of the 10th MNCA W Prahlada & W Ramananda Elite Trophy 2025-26 today.
The match at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal, saw RCA Lilong winning the toss and electing to bat first.
In 36 overs, RCA Lilong could score only 127 runs for  10 wickets.
With Kishan Laishram knocking an impressive 40 runs off 50 balls including 4 fours and 2 sixes, CYCLONE completed the chase in just 21.3 overs, scoring 130 for 6 wickets.
In RCA Lilong's run for 127, Md Danish Khan (25/29), Naesh Hussain (25/48), Makakmayum Aziz Mirza (15/30),  Mohd Nasirshah (11/33), Md Anush (9/27), Zuned (7/20) Syed Hussain (6/5), Iliyas (4/4), Md Alfash (3/6) and Md Imran (1/11) contributed runs.
CYCLONE's Md Aqeel took 4 wickets. Nongthombam Denin and Kishan Laishram took 2 wickets each, and Reolin Oinam and Md Rahish Khan scalped one wicket each.
In the chase, CYCLONE's Kishan Laishram (40/50), Md Aqeel (29/13), Loktongbam Santosh Meitei (19/32), Ningthoujam Thoiba Singh (8/4), Nongthombam Denin (8/15), Md Sharoz Khan (5/7) and Thomsan Moirangthem (4/5) contributed runs to amass 130 in 21.3 overs to beat RCA Lilong.
RCA's Iliyas took 2 wickets. Makakmayum Aziz Mirza, Zuned, Naesh Hussain and Zamir Khan took one wicket each.
In another match, CRAU Khamnam Bazar beat SCCC Singjamei Thongam Leikai by 8 wickets at Model Higher Secondary Ground Imphal.
SCCC won the toss and elected to bat first to score a total of 152 runs for 0 wickets in 39.5 overs.
An undefeated Robinson Shougaijam knocked a massive 78 runs off 93 balls including 6 fours and 1 six to help CRAU reach the targeted 153 runs for 2 wickets in 27.4 overs.
Bikash Singh (39/75) scored the most for SCCC Singjamei Thongam Leikai.
Moirangthem Thomas Singh (30/54), Moirangthem Satish Kumar (26/19), Bijenkumar Singh Nongmai-them (19/35), Basant (13/16), Rakeshwor Republic Hidangmayum (7/12), Lishan Meitei Khaidem (5/8) and Khaidem Joyraj Meitei (2/7) contributed runs.
CRAU's Takhellambam Kala Singh and Bm Sabakhan took 3 wickets each. Ayekpam Rakesh Singh scalped 2 wickets and Heishnam Joyhenba Meitei took one wicket.
In CRAU's successful chase, Robinshon Shougai-jam scored 78 runs off 93 balls. Johny Kh (21/44), Dennis Khagembam (18/26) and Lamabam Jotin Singh (2/4) contributed runs.
SCCC's Bikash Singh and Basant took one wicket each.
