2nd Dr Ksh Chourjit Singh Inter District Polo Tournament X-Polo Club to lock horns with Chingkheihunba Polo Club in final

IMPHAL, Feb 12: X-Polo Club Wangkhei and Chingkheihunba Polo Club Kongpal will lock horns in the final of the 2nd Dr Ksh Chourjit Singh Inter District Polo Tournament.
In the semifinals today, Chingkheihunba Polo Club beat Assam Rifles Polo Team 7-5, and X-Polo Club beat Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club 11-3.
The first semifinal match saw Th Kaoba scoring three goals for Chingkheihunba Polo Club.
Chingkheihunba Polo Club led the first chukker 3-1.
While L Joykumar scored for the Assam Rifles Polo Team, A Alex, Leishemba and O Rozor scored for Chingkheihunba Polo Club.
The second chukker saw Th Kaoba scoring 2 goals for Chingkheihunba Polo Club, and L Joykumar scoring his second for Assam Rifles Polo Team.
The Assam Rifles Polo Team improved in the 3rd chukker, and added two goals to its score through L Joykumar and M Kuber.
Leishemba scored his second for Chingkheihunba Polo Club to lead 6-4 over Assam Rifles Polo Team.
The 4th chukker witnessed both teams scoring one goal each to end the match 7-5 in favour of Chingkheihunba Polo Club.
Kh Chandrakumar scored the 5th goal for Assam Rifles Polo Team, and Th Kaoba scored the 7th goal for Chingkheihunba Polo Club.
The second semifinal match saw Th Jacob scoring a four goal haul for X-Polo Club Wangkhei to beat Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club 11-3.
The first chukker ended 0-0.
X-Polo Club led the second chukker 3-1 with Th Jacob scoring a double and L Alangba scoring one goal. O Paikhomba scored the lone goal of the chukker for Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club.
The third chukker saw X-Polo Club dominate 5-0. Th Santosh scored two of the goals, and P Ojit Singh, L Alangba and Th Jacob scored one each.
While X-Polo Club scored 3 more goals in the fourth chukker, Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club added 2.
Th Santosh, Th Jacob and L Alangba scored the three for X-Polo Club. K Vikter and O Paikhomba scored for Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club.
