IMPHAL, Feb 14 : PTRC, Patsoi Part IV and TRAU, Kwakeithel sealed their third wins on the trot in the 10th MNCA W Prahlada and W Ramananda Elite Trophy 2025-26 as CHAMP Cricket Club (CHAMP CC), Khagempalli ended their two game losing run today.
At Model Hr Sec and Oriental College ground, CHAMP CC elected to field first and bowled out CYCLONE, Thangmeiband for 103 runs in 32 overs riding on impressive bowling performances from Md Sultan Karim (3/16) and Abdul Kasim (3/16) and fought their way to winning 106/9 in 24.1 overs despite Kishan Laishram returning with a fifer (5/14) for CYCLONE.
Loktongbam Santosh 28, Kishan 24, N Thoiba 18 and Md Al Bashid 12 were the only double digit run getters for CYCLONE before they collapse at a meagre total in the first innings that also saw Ch Ranjan, Keisham Kennedy and Md Ahsanul Kabir securing a wicket apiece for CHAMP.
In reply, Yumnam Karnajit 32, S Shangkar 18 and Leikhram Johny 16 led the scoring before they scraped their way to the victory despite Kishan and N Denin (3/22) sharing 8 wickets.
PTRC cruise at Moijing Public Ground
Elsewhere at Moijing Public Ground, PTRC thrashed Model Club by 90 runs for the third straight win.
Toss winners PTRC were dismissed for a lowly total of 146 runs in 38.3 overs as Model Club bowlers impressed with the ball. But the total proved too big as Model Club slumped to 56 all out within 19 overs with PTRC bowlers wreaking havoc across their line up with ease.
Kh Santosh 33 off 71 balls and Ngariyanbam Johnson 36 off 54 were the only main run getters for PTRC today in the first innings that saw Yungkham Romario leading with the figures of 3/22 for Model Club followed by Y Suson (2/25), W Priyokumar (2/24) and N Anand (2/14).
RK Rex (3/27), Pheiroijam Tamarland (3/12) and Konthoujam Bishworjit (2/2) however made the easy work of Model Club batters in the chase. Only M Tejkumar 12 and Y Romario 15 managed double digit runs for Model Club as 3 batters were dismissed on ducks while 5 managed single digit scores.
TRAU notch up 97-run victory against SCCC
TRAU, meanwhile scripted a commanding 97-run victory against SCCC, Singjamei Thongam Leikai as they raised a challenging total of 213 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted over and bundled out SCCC for 116 runs in 30.2 overs.
Pukhrambam Prafullomani 47 off 27, Priyojit 39, S Somokanta 25 and N Sanjit 40 set the momentum for TRAU before Tyrus 34 not out and S Somorjit 2 not out took the team to 213/7.
Kh Joyraj (2/29), Basant (2/28) and Bikash (2/54) of SCCC shared 6 wickets in this innings before they collapsed at 116 within 30.2 overs with S Somorjit (3/24), Anoubam Puinachandra (2/13) and Sanjembam Somokanta (2/21) leading the demolition job for TRAU.
M Thomas was the highest scorer for SCCC in this innings that also saw N Sanjit and M Swabhiman of TRAU claiming a wicket apiece.
