YWC beat KSDO by 4 wickets in Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament

IMPHAL, Feb 16 : YWC, Langthabal got the better of KSDO, Kyamgei by 4 wickets for the second Group B win in three matches of the ongoing XIII T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament 2026 at Langthabal Public Ground.
Asked to bat first, KSDO managed to add 125 runs for the loss of 6 in the allotted 20 overs before YWC cruised to the target in 18.1 overs with 6 wickets left to spare.
Abdul Khalique 36, Noushad Ali 32 and Riyajuddin 21 led the scoring for KSDO in the first innings that saw Samananda of YWC claiming three wickets (3/20) as Sasi (2/24) and Dinachandra (1/17) shared the other 3 wickets.
In reply, Prakashmani 30, Tejkumar 18 and Manaobi 15 set the momentum before Samananda 13 not out off 7 finished off the chase with Ashokumar for the 7th wicket stand.
Abdul Khalique shone with a treble (3/28) of wickets but his efforts failed to curb the YWC chase.
Samananda, who enjoyed a three wicket haul and took the team to the target, was adjudged man of the match.
Later in the day, RNEF, Mayang Imphal earned a walkover win over SHADOW, Thangmeiband in a Group C match.
