Old bomb found

THOUBAL, Feb 17: A rusted old bomb believed to be of World War-II era was found at Heirok Part-II under Heirok police station, Thoubal district on February 15.
The bomb was found while digging ground for construction of a retaining wall at Tomal Makhong Leikai.
After the police were informed, a bomb disposal squad picked up the bomb and safely detonated it at a safe place at Heirok.
