Manoranjan Memorial Football SSU beat NMFA 4-3 on penalties to book final ticket

IMPHAL, Feb 17 : SSU, Singjamei are into the final of the 16th Shaheed Manoranjan Singh Memorial Open State Level Football Tournament, 2025-26 being hosted by the 86 Battalion CRPF, Lamphelpat, under the aegis of IG M&N Sector, CRPF in close coordination with the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA).
SSU reached the final today by defeating NMFA by 4-3 goals on penalties after the two sides remained unseparated till the end of the extra time.
Amit Kumar, Y Surchandra, N Kabiraj and K Monex did the scoring for SSU in the shoot-out to seal the victory as only M Ronik, Th Johnson and I Indrajit were able to convert for NMFA.
FC Raengdai, Noney will face off against PATHAP FC, Lilong in the next semi-final match on February 19.
