18th MSL : PATHAP FC cruise to 4-1 win over TRUGPU

IMPHAL, Feb 1 : Sayed Mirwaj Hussain scored twice to lead PATHAP FC, Lilong to a 4-1 win over TRUGPU, Nambol in a Group C match of the ongoing 18th Manipur State League 2025-26. It was the third win for PATHAP FC in five matches after conceding two opening game losses.
PATHAP FC and TRUGPU almost settled the first half in a goalless draw but Md Nishar Ahamad scored 2 minutes into the stoppage time to put PATHAP FC ahead.
Sayed Mirwaj Hussain then doubled the advantage in the 51st minute before TRUGPU pulled back a goal through Salam Mayananda in the 62nd minute.
Sayed Mirwaj Hussain retained the two-goal lead for PATHAP FC by converting a penalty in the 75th minute before Md Taj Ahamed who subbed in for Md Raesh Khan after the break scored deep 6 minutes into the stoppage time to make it 4-1.
Utlou FC will play Lamjao FC in the next Group C match tomorrow.
