U-19 Women’s Football Tournament FC Imphal demolish ICSA 17-1 as YWC-Th beat ESU 2-0

IMPHAL, Feb 2 : FC Imphal ran riot to pulverize ICSA, Irengbam 17-1 as YWC, Thambalkhong (YWC-Th) sealed a 2-0 win over ESU, Wangkhei in today’s Group B league matches of the ongoing U-19 Women’s Football Tournament 2025-26.
FC Imphal, who sealed a slender 1-0 win over YWC-Th in their league opener, were quick off the block and took an 11-0 first half lead before cruising to the 17-1 win over ICSA, Irengbam this afternoon.
Athokpam Luxmi Devi took centrestage in this match adding 5 goals alone (12’, 17’, 70’, 72’, 90+2’) as Ngangkham Binita (29’, 35’, 60’) and Herina Basumatary (21’, 23’, 57’) gathered 6 goals.
Thongam Reshma (16’, 19’) and Ngasepam Goldy (39’, 73’) also added two goals apiece to set up the mammoth win as Leihaorungbam Sanathoi (4’) and Sarangthem Mathoi (42’) contributed a goal apiece.
The consolation goal for ICSA, Irengbam was scored by Ahongshangbam Riteshwori Devi in the 51st minute.
Earlier in the day, Sagolshem Ronika (40’) and Laitonjam Linthoi (71’) netted a goal apiece to set up YWC-Th a 2-0 win over ESU.
