CYLC Tennis Padameshwor sets up men’s open singles final date with Ribhashkar

IMPHAL, Feb 20 : Padameshwor will square off against Ribhashkar in the men’s open singles final of the 15th CYLC State Open Tennis Tournament 2026 being organised by the Association of Tennis Lovers at CYLC Tennis Court, Chingamathak.
Padameshwor reached the final with a hardfought 6-7 (7-5), 7-5, 10-7 win over Suraj in the second semi-final match today.
Ribhashkar made it to the final yesterday by a 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 win over Bona.
The day also saw Premjit and Suraj securing their place in the 40+ men’s doubles final as they overcame Bona and Pritam 7-6 (7-2), 6-4.
NK Meitei and Prakash, meanwhile, set up the 50+ men’s doubles final date with Kumarjit and Iboton.
NK Meitei and Prakash entered the final with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Manikanta and Jayanta today.
Kumarjit and Iboton had yesterday eased to the final with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Ramkumar and M Pradip.
The championship will conclude tomorrow.
