3 State boxers qualify for World Boxing Futures Cup

IMPHAL, Feb 21 : Three State boxers have qualified to represent India at the World Boxing Futures Cup for under-19 athletes to be hosted by Thailand from March 6 to 15 in Bangkok.
The boxers who have qualified for the Bangkok event include Lairenlakpam Ambekar of NSA (50 kg), Chirom Joyshree of Sarita Regional Boxing Academy (54 kg) and Radhamani Longjam of Sarita Regional Boxing Academy (57 kg).
The World Boxing Futures Cup will serve as National team trial selection and qualifier for the 4th Summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG) to be hosted by Senegal in Dakar from October 31 to November 13.
