IW ASMITA Sepaktakraw League YAWA seal senior women’s title

IMPHAL, Feb 3 : Hosts YAWA, Singjamei emerged as the champions of the ASMITA League League 2025-26 for Imphal West held at YAWA Indoor Hall, Singjamei Leishangthem Leikai.
YAWA defeated WAC 2-0 (15-11, 15-13) in the final to seal the top honour this evening.
YAWA sealed the sub-junior girls title yesterday but settled for the runners up title in the junior girls event as WAC walked away with the top honour. Winners, runners up and second runners up teams were feted with cash and kind during the closing function held in the presence of Dronacharya Awardee L Ibomcha; general secretary of AMSTA Ch Geskant as presidium members.
