CRPF conducts CAP

Imphal, Feb 4 : The 169 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has carried out a significant Civic Action Programme (CAP_ in Imphal West district, focusing on improving basic amenities and bridging the digital divide for the local community.
The initiative, conducted under the ongoing CAP, saw the construction of a new water storage facility and the renovation of five toilets at the Community Hall of Kadangband-II village, said a release issued by CRPF.
On the same day, the Unit also launched a Computer Training Programme at the Don Bosco School in Phayeng to equip local youth with essential skills for future opportunities.
The CRPF officials emphasized their commitment to enhancing civic amenities and technological proficiency.
Rajeev Lochan, Commandant-120 Bn, CRPF, stressed the CRPF's dedication to improving both basic civic amenities and technological proficiency for the local populace.
Md Yasser Abbasi, Commandant-(AOL) 169 Bn, CRPF, expressed gratitude to the villagers and reaffirmed the CRPF’s dedication to socially meaningful programmes.
He stated that in today’s rapidly changing world, digital literacy is the foundation of progress, supporting students in education and employment in everyday life.
Villagers, local community leaders, and dignitaries who were present expressed their happiness and appreciation for the noble initiatives taken by the 169 Bn CRPF.
