Poppy destroyed

IMPHAL, Feb 4: Security forces and Forest Department personnel destroyed 180 acres of opium poppy cultivation at Leingangching hill range (Mapithel hill range) under Litan police station, Ukhrul district today.
During the operation, the security forces and the Forest personnel also destroyed 20 huts found at the plantation sites, said the police.
