Foundation Day celebrated

IMPHAL, Feb 4 : The 23rd Foundation Day of All Manipur Meitei Pangal Clubs’ Organisation (AMMPACO) was celebrated today at Manipur Press Club, Imphal.
The event was graced by dignitaries, including Poirei Leimarol Apunba Meira Paibi Manipur president Soraisam Memcha, All Manipur United Clubs’ Organisation (AMUCO) president Sorokhaibam Sanjoy Singh, AMMPACO president Meraimayum Salamat Ali, All Manipur Women Voluntary Association (AMAWOVA) president Yumkhaibam Kunjarani,  Rabita-e-Madaaris-e-Islamia Arabia Manipur president Hazrat Moulana Mufti Siraj Ahmed Qasmi, Kabui Mothers’ Association (KAMA) president Atongpi Kamei, All Manipur Ulema Council vice president Mufti Arshad Hussain Qasmi, and Kshetri Apunba Nupi Lup president Ipham Ongbi Jano Begum.
Speaking on the occasion, Salamat Ali emphasized the Meitei-Pangal community’s vital role in maintaining Manipur’s unity.
He highlighted the community’s collaboration with other organisations like AMUCO on contemporary issues, stressing the need for coexistence and harmony.
He also urged all communities to unite, discuss, and work together to restore peace in Manipur, resolving differences through dialogue.
