Late goal saves YOSC from losing in 18th Manipur State League

IMPHAL, Feb 5: Youth Organization Sporting Club (YOSC) and North Eastern Sporting Union (NESU) played a 3-3 draw match in the 18th Manipur State League 2025-26 at Artificial Turf Ground, Lamlong Thongkhong today.
The thrilling match saw RN Yangmiching scoring a last minute equalizer to save YOSC from an imminent defeat.
Khumanthem Borish scored the first goal of the match for NESU in the 18th minute, before Irengbam Nongdamba Meitei adding two more goals for a 3-0 lead over YOSC in the 29th and 54th minute.
The setback forced YOSC to change tactics and search for NESU's weakness to be exploited. The team's hard work paid off when Worchuipei Kashung broke the defence line and scored their first goal in the 59th minute.
As YOSC continued to look for NESU weakness, the team made another breakthrough when Konsam Genius found their second goal in the match 76th.
Ignited by the two goals, YOSC continued to look for an equalizer, and NESU fell back to strengthen their defence.
NESU's defence to deny YOSC an equalizer crumbled when RN Yangmiching found an opening and scored their third goal in the 90+5 minute, ending the match in a 3-3 draw.
