Ibobi named MPCC president

IMPHAL, Feb 5 : Veteran Congress leader and three time Chief Minister of Manipur, Okram Ibobi has been named as the new president of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee. An order to this effect was issued by the general secretary of AICC, KC Venugopal today.
Simultaneously outgoing MPCC president K Meghachandra has been named as the CLP leader while K Ranjit has been appointed as deputy leader.
