How cry for freedom...
While chains bind the innocent?
Martyrs’ mothers...
Shed tears of blood.
Children—slain.
How still plead...
For your peace?

Others’ breath stolen...
For your survival.
Barren earth spreads.
Life flees the valleys.
Angels fallen.
Dirges cloak the hills...
In endless tears.

What remains?
Homelands shattered.
The homeless wander...
From ancestral hearths.

Yet seek...
Inner peace.
Heal the valleys.
Rise as one.
