The State Government has appointed Sheikh Abdul Hakim as the new Director of the Social Welfare Department. An official order to this effect was issued by Joint Secretary Bidyarani Ayekpam.
Meanwhile, Anna Arambam, the former Director of Social Welfare, has been appointed as Additional Secretary (AR/DP).
