IMPHAL, Feb 8: Security forces destroyed 27 acres of opium poppy plantation expanding over Awlmun, Songlung and Lhangjol areas under Kanchup police station, Kangpokpi district today.
During the operation, the security forces also destroyed five huts, three sacks of salt and five fertilizer bags, and recovered a 2-wheeler Kenbo bike.
