Veteran T-20 Cricket Tournament Rajen stars in SNC’s 9-wkt win over BSC-B

IMPHAL, Mar 10 : Rajen shone with the bat to guide SNC, Sangaiprou a 9-wicket win over BSC-B, Brahmapur Laljilakpa Leikai in the final Group D match of the ongoing XIII T-20 Manipur Veteran Cricket Tournament.
Asked to bat first, BSC-B gathered 134 runs for 6 wickets thanks to Eigya 22, Sushil 37 and Romesh 20 not out but SNC eased to the winning 137 in 12.3 overs at the cost of 1 wicket as Rajen scored an unbeaten 87 off just 41 balls.
Rajen (1/22), Joychand (1/25), Ronel (1/13) and Ranendrajit (1/16) were among the wickets for SNC in the first innings while Vedeshor (1/28) picked one wicket for BSC-B as Thawai assisted Rajen with an unbeaten 26 off 21 balls to end their campaign with one victory in five matches.
W Rajen of SNC was declared man of the match.
Later in the final league round match of the tournament (Group C), YAC earned a walkover win against SHADOW who failed to turn up with minimum required strength.
KCC, Kongba will play YWC, Langthabal in the first quarterfinal match of the tournament in the morning of March 12 before YPHU-W take on REYS in the second quarterfinal match in the afternoon.
CYCLONE will on the other hand play TCMDC in the third quarterfinal match on March 13 in the morning before SU-SVC face YPHU-N in the last quarterfinal match in the afternoon.
