VFC beat FLAM 1-0 to extend winning run

IMPHAL, Mar 28 : VFC, Kakwa beat FLAM, Yaiskul by 1-0 goal for their second Group A match in the ongoing 24th Challenge Cup Veteran Football Tournament at natural turf ground of SAI-NERC, Takyel.
FVC, who thumped UKFC by 3-0 goals in their league opener, rode on H Momocha’s solitary strike in the 11th minute to beat their Yaiskul rivals.
In another Group A match staged earlier in the day, MLFVA, Mayailambi thumped UKFC, Uripok 2-0 courtesy of goals from Ng Ratankumar (12’) and Deepak Laiphrakpam (42’).
