Cycling expedition from March 12

IMPHAL, Mar 2 : A 35-day cycling expedition with the theme “Cycling For Peace In Manipur” is set to commence on March 12 and conclude on April 25. The initiative is being led by transgender activist Malem Thongam, who plans to travel across various locations in Manipur to promote peace. Today, Malem Thongam submitted a formal letter to the Chief Minister, requesting moral, administrative, and safety support for the extensive journey.
The expedition is scheduled to begin on March 12 from Lamangdong Keithel, Bishnupur Bazar, and will culminate at the Ibudhou Marjing Temple in Heingang on April 15. The entire cycling tour is expected to last approximately 35 days.
