Dr Ningthoukhongjam Debendra condoled

IMPHAL, Mar 29 : The Manipur Equestrian Association, Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association and Manipuri Pony Society have mourned the passing of the founder chairman of the Manipur Equestrian Association, Dr Ningthoukhongjam Debendra.
A joint condolence meeting of the three bodies was convened at the residence of the late founder chairman at Uripok Ningthoukhongjam Leikai with the treasurer of Manipur Equestrian Association, Dr Thokchom Debendra Kumar in the chair.
The meeting recalled the contributions made by Dr N Debendra as a visionary in the field of equestrian events and a pioneer in documentation of ancient scriptures related to Manipuri civilization and ponies, said the Manipur Equestrian Association in a condolence note.
The representatives of the equestrian bodies also shared the grief and sorrow with the bereaved family members and paid respect to the departed soul by observing two minute silence, it said.
