Gunfight reported at Noney

IMPHAL, Mar 9: A fierce gunfight was reported between suspected cadres of NSCN-IM and ZUF (Jenchui group) at Taodaijang village under Khoupum police station, Noney district this morning.
While there are no reports of any casualties, the gunfight lasted about an hour, forcing villagers to flee and take shelter in safer places.
Soon after the incident, Khoupum police rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
Meanwhile, a video footage uploaded on Facebook showed suspected cadres of ZUF capturing a "strategic camp" of the NSCN-IM in the Taodaijang village area.
