IMPHAL, Apr 13: The proscribed RPF has conveyed gratitude to all the people, organisations, institutions, clubs, Bar Association, Government employees, Health Department employees, students and teachers of schools and colleges who took part in the Martyrs’ Day observation at the Cheiraoching Memorial and other memorials located at different places. Through a press release issued by its Deputy Secretary, Publicity Roben Khuman, the outfit conveyed gratitude to the electronics media, transport organisations, doctors, nurses and staff and people inhabiting around Cheiraoching for their contributions towards successful observation of the Martyrs’ Day.
It further conveyed gratitude to Manipur Police for not imposing excessive restrictions on observing the Martyrs’ Day.
The supreme sacrifice made by the martyrs laid a strong foundation for the present generation to sacrifice even more for the cause of the motherland, it said.
