IMPHAL, Apr 3 : AKSDO, Khangabok and SHADOW, Thangmeiband secured their second straight wins in the ongoing 3rd MNCA U-15 Girls One Day Trophy 2025-26 today.
At Kongba Dhobi Lampak, SHADOW crushed FORCE by 156 runs for the second Group B victory riding on Viviene Laishram’s 86-ball 129 and bowlers.
Viviene Laishram struck 18 fours and 4 sixes on the way to her 129 and helped toss winners SHADOW raise a huge total of 235 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 30 overs.
Sagatpam Henthoibi (3/9 in 6 overs), Hanglem Malemnganbi (3/15 in 4 overs) and Shilheibi Seram (2/23 in 3.5 overs) then combined well to bundle out FORCE for 79 runs within 20.5 overs.
Earlier in the first innings, Sadiya Sahani (2/55) led the bowling attack for FORCE. Ef Nazniha (1/42), Mukida (1/50) and Raaida Rani (1/55) were also among the wickets for the team before all the batters departed either on ducks or with single digit scores.
Sadiya Sahani on 7 not out was the highest scorer for the team in this innings followed by Mukida 6 and Arishma 4.
Viviene Laishram was eventually declared player of the match.
Elsewhere at THAU ground, AKSDO steamrolled SU by 203 runs as they piled up 237/6 after electing to bat first and bundled out SU for 34 runs in 17.2 overs.
AKSDO raised the commanding total on the back of a half century from Lucyrani Khundrakpam (36-ball 55), contributions from Laishram Kalpana 36, Laishram Linthoi 36, Henthoisana 23 and Thokchom Langlen 21 besides 49 extras conceded by SU bowlers.
Saikhom Priya Chanu (3/11 in 3 overs), Laishram Linthoi Chanu (2/5 in 3.2 overs) and Lucyrani Khundrakpam (2/3 in 3 overs) then ripped apart the SU batting line up.
Ayekpam Bhumika, Heigrujam Mangalleibi and Tamphasana Rajkumar scored identical 2 runs apiece in the SU innings as 7 batters departed on duck and Sorokhaibam Jestina remained unbeaten on 0 off 3 balls.
Lucyrani was adjudged player of the match.
